Like Tiffany in the United States, Gubelin is considered one of the top jewelers in Switzerland. Also like Tiffany, the company sold very high-end watches under its own brand-name throughout the twentieth century. Despite not being a manufacturer itself, Gubelin sourced whole watches, as well as movements, cases, and parts from top-tier Swiss producers, and released them to the public as part of their collection.
